Description:

There are roughly 60 calories in a one cup serving of Grapes. There are 15 grams of sugar, which is interesting as there is roughly the same amount of sugar in a can of coke.

We say this because most people in the US, especially those people who are overweight, eat a diet very high in sugar. Ever since the recent change that Weight Watchers made about allowing unlimited, or at least high amounts of fruit with no need to count points, there has been a big debate about how healthy the sugar content of fruit is.

Grapes have a smattering of vitamins and minerals. Red grapes in particular are high in polyphenols which have been shown to be powerful antioxidants.
