Our Exclusive FoodFacts Health Score
The FoodFacts Health Score evaluates foods using a unique algorithm that combines FDA recommended intakes of nutrients and vitamins along with the quality of ingredients. It makes it easy for you to identify healthy foods with high nutritional value as well as those foods that contain the ingredients you need to avoid – fat, carbohydrates, sugar etc.
How It Works:
The FoodFacts Health Score is an innovative scoring system that evaluates foods based on multiple dimensions of nutrition and assigns those foods a numeric rating between 0 and 100, the higher the score the better the food. We also use a color coding system that helps you easily identify a more nutritious product at a glance.
0-25 RED = Should be avoided
26-49 YELLOW = Proceed with caution
50-75 WHITE = Moderate amount of nutritional value
76-100 GREEN = Healthiest choices
